Bicycles in the Eugene Celebration Parade

I was down in Eugene over the weekend and got to check out the Eugene Celebration Parade. There were, of course, lots of pedal-powered contraptions in the parade so I thought I’d share a few here.

Peter Wagner, Whymcycles

Here’s Peter Wagner who also made an appearance at Sunday Parkways the next day.

Coltrane not Coal Trains

I wholeheartedly support this position.

Human Powered

Human powered.

Pink & Green

Pretty in pink.

Peace by Pedicab

Some had others do the pedaling for them.

Kinetic Konstables

One of the larger human powere machines in the parade, pedaled by the Kinetic Konstables.

Skinner City Farm

I was impressed to see this repair stand on a bike trailer.

Human Powered Machines

There were tons of cargo bikes of all shapes and sizes.

Smoothies & Tunes by Bike

One float handed out smoothies made on a bike blender.

Flower Power

And it’s Eugene so there’s got to be flower power!

You can see all my pictures from the parade, bicycles and all, in the gallery below.
