I’m becoming a big fan of Danny MacAskill. We’ve featured two other videos of him riding and both are amazing. Not only is MacAskill incredibly skilled but the cinematography is gorgeous and the music fits perfectly with the visuals.
The video below is lower key than “Industrial Revolutions” or “Back Home” but it’s still packed with impressive riding, skilled camera work, and a Friday-friendly soundtrack.
It also features interviews with MacAskill talking about his experiences and what he’s looking forward to working on in the future.
Last Friday we shared a video of Danny MacAskill riding through Scotland. One of our readers saw that and directed our attention to another great MacAskill video, this time showing him ride through an old industrial facility.
The whole video is great to watch and around 2:30 into it MacAskill accomplishes something I thought was impossible: riding a bicycle along a suspended metal cable.
In the video below, Danny MacAskill makes trials riding, seen as destructive in some circles, look absolutely peaceful and elegant. Titled “Way Back Home”, the video features Danny riding through scenery in his native Scotland.
